The Process Improvement Program aims at making operational the implementation of models and norms within an organization. It is treated as a project and supported by a strategic vision of the organization.
This model of process improvement program is based on the PDCA approach, where the main steps are: Gap Analysis, Process Definition, Institutionalizing and Evaluation.
Phase 1 - Gap Analysis - it is of extreme importance, because it is in this phase that a more detailed diagnostic of the company is made. Their results allow measuring the efforts to be made in the next phases of the improvement program.
Phase 2 - Definition - its objective is to specify a framework for the company to be adherent to the chosen quality model.
Phase 3 - Institutionalizing - it verifies the use of the process assets defined in phase 2.
Phase 4 - Evaluation - its objective is the certification of the organization in a defined scope and maturity level.
